Which Renault Mégane can be calculated?
On the Renault Mégane, the radio code for the button-radio generations (I·II·III (≤2016)) can be calculated directly from the precode. The later touchscreen systems (III/IV ≥2016 (R-Link/MediaNav)) are database-bound and can only be solved via dealer or database.
Find the precode on your Mégane
With the radio on, hold buttons 1 + 6 together for about 5 seconds until „PRE xxxx" appears. If that doesn't work: switch the radio off, hold 1 + 6 (or 1 + 5) and turn it on while holding. Precode = one letter + 3 digits.
